Under 14 – two prizes of $100
Under 16 – two prizes of $100
Under 18 – two prizes of $200
18 and over – two prizes of $200
Conditions of entry:
The competition is open to all and is free to enter. All entries must be original work and not
previously published. Copyright will remain with the author but the organisers (Knights of
the Southern Cross – Wellington Branch) reserve the right to publish all or part of any entry.The maximum length is 2,000 words, typed on one side of A4 page(s), fastened together with
a cover sheet showing the entrant’s name, date of birth, address (postal and e-mail), telephone
number, and entry word count. If the entrant is attending school/college/tertiary please give
details. Entries must be received on or before 22 September 2012; entries will not be
returned. The judges are members of the Knights of the Southern Cross and their decisions
are final.
